Author's note: It's going to be a long chapter!

It was finally the day before the Christmas program, the 15th of December.

All the preparations were done and all the students were ready for the musical. The actors and the choir were super excited.

“Okay students you all may go home! Don't forget your plain white t-shirts and the black jeans! And girls? Tie your hair in a high ponytail! Okay?”

“Yes ma'am!”

“Okay then! See you all at three tomorrow! Have a good sleep, drink hot water and eat well!” she sends the choir students back to class.

It was the last period for Tuesday. The choir students returned when the other students were walking out of the class, ready to go home, happily chatting with their friends.

Natalie, Ella, Eli and Brandon walked into their empty classroom and packed their bags and walked out together.

“So we're going straight home?” Brandon asks.

“Yea why?” Eli asks.

Brandon frowns at him.

“What?”

“He wants to go out and eat somewhere!” Ella exclaims.

Brandon happily hugs Ella.

“Yay! You got it right!”

“Wow I'm surprised that Ella can read minds.”Eli laughs.

“No. I was hungry and thinking of the same thing. Lets go!” she pulls Brandon and walks.

Nat and Eli look at each other and shrug. Then they follow the two to a restaurant.

As they find their seats a waiter approaches them.

“What would you like to eat kids?” he asks noticing their uniforms and smiles at them.

“Uncle! Fried rice and grill chicken! That's all I need. Let the rest order for themselves.” Brandon tells making everyone laugh, including the waiter.

“Uncle scezhwan noodles for me!” Ella tells him.

“Chicken Biriyani for me!” Natalie tells.

“Butter Naan and Butter Chicken for me!” Eli tells.

The waiter smiles and notes down everything and then walks away.

“By the way, why did we order lunch?” Nat asks.

“Oh come on Nat! We are tired and hungry from all the singing. We won't gain weight in one day! Don't worry!” Ella says making everyone laugh.

After the food arrived, all the four shared and ate all the food. Then they paid the bill and walked home.

“Mom! Dad! We're home!” Ella walks in after removing her shoe. The others follow her in.

“Where are they?” Eli walks into the Kitchen and finds a sticky note on the fridge.

Children, we wanted to spend tonight with you but I and your dad have an important meeting. We will come home tomorrow morning. Food is ready. Eat whenever you want to. And have fun! See you in the morning. Call if you need anything.

“They've gone to a meeting. They'll come in the morning.” Eli tells them.

“Oh. Okay! Let's freshen up!” Ella drags Natalie to her room.
