At [Y/N]'s house, just after Izuku dropped her off so he could go deal with 'parent stuff'
[F/N] = Father's Name
[M/N] = Mother's NameThe door gently shut, and [Y/N] turned around to lock it, before placing her keyring into a small bowl on the coffee table beside her.
The teen took a long sip of her hot chocolate as she made her way to the couch and sat down.
She figured it was around seven-thirty p.m. by now, and she just had to go along with her assumption as the girl had no cell phone. Or a television, tablet, etc.
If it was an electronic device other than that clunky old computer her mother let her use for the first time last year, [Y/N] didn't have it.
According to [Y/N]'s mom, the TV would rot her brain, and any other electronic device would distract her from what was important. Her studies.
Speaking of, it was probably time to start with training.
The girl blankly stared at the naked wall as she activated her quirk, thinking of what to imitate.
She was already very skilled at imitating quirks, so her mother had told her to only focus on appearances for now.
First, she changed her hair color from [H/C] to [F/C], and moved on, imitating different elements of her appearance all at once. Odd black and white spiral-like patterns were put into her irises, her lips were thinned out, and her height had a few inches added on.
'Hmm... What else?' She thought, glancing up at the ceiling. She was far from even approaching her limit, and as [M/N] always said:
"You'll never improve if you only practice within your limits."
In any other situation, that was great advice, but in this case, it meant she wanted [Y/N] to overwork herself, even if it meant getting hurt.
The girl went through her memory trying to remember physical traits she'd seen around before.
Izuku's freckles now faintly appeared on her face, and she changed one of her swirly eyes to a flat red color, giving a heterochromatic look.
A few hours of switching between different appearances, and by nine o'clock, the girl was barely recognizable as herself, looking like a circus threw up on her.
When she was just nearing her limit, the front door opened and in walked the one and only [M/N] [L/N].
The woman was carrying six brown paper shopping bags with no issue. Her quirk allowed her to duplicate her limbs to her heart's content.
She currently had six arms, but quickly sprouted another to close the door.
The black-haired woman took the groceries into the house and placed them on the counter before walking back into the living room to see [Y/N] training and sipping on a hot chocolate.
[M/N]'s brows furrowed as she placed two hands on her hips, deactivating her quirk so the five others disappeared.
"What's that?" She asked, making her daughter flinch and accidentally deactivate her quirk at the sharp tone. The woman gestured to the paper cup. (like one of those to-go coffee cups you get at Starbucks) "Is that coffee?"
The girl frantically shook her head. "I-It's hot chocolate."
"Hot chocolate? Is it-" "Yes, it's s-sugar free, don't worry."
It was times like this [Y/N] was thankful her mother didn't have a lie detecting quirk.
[M/N] nodded as [Y/N] took another sip of her drink which was practically liquid sugar.
