HOSPITAL ROOM

Sam and Ellie, dressed in hospital whites, are speaking to a girl named April that drowned another girl in the bathroom toilets of a school.
"I'm not talking about it anymore. I already told the cops and the doctors. No one believes me. They think I'm crazy." April tells them.
"Well, we're a little bit more open-minded than most. April, why did you tell the police you were possessed?" Ellie asks softly.
"It doesn't matter." The girl states.
"It matters to us." Sam explains.
"When I - when I hurt Taylor, I was there, in my head, but I couldn't control my body. I could see what I was doing, but I couldn't stop. I just wanted to stop. I'm sorry." April cries.
"You don't need to apologize, April, some of the kids at school told the police that you and Taylor didn't get along." Ellie adds.
"Well, yeah, but I never wanted to kill her. Never. Do you believe me?" She asks the siblings.
"Yeah, I do. Just a couple more questions. On the day this happened, did you... happen to smell anything?" The middle Winchester asks.
"Anything... like what?"
"Like rotten eggs... or sulfur?" Ellie explains.
"Um, no."
"Okay, did you notice any black smoke?" Sam questions.
"What are you, crazy?" April asks them.

IMPALA

Sam and Ellie approach the Impala where Dean is waiting for them, they both get in. "So?" The oldest Winchester asks.
"I think she's telling the truth. I mean, the way she talked about being there mentally but not physically - kind of sounds like demonic possession to me." Sam explains.
"Kind of?"
"She didn't see any black smoke or smell sulfur." Ellie adds on.
"Maybe it's not a demon. I mean, kids can be vicious." Dean states.
"Well, I mean, we're already here. Might as well check out the school." Sam says with a shrug.
"Right. The school." Dean nods.
"What?" Sam and Ellie ask.
"Truman High, home of the Bombers." Dean explains.
"What's your point?" Sam asks.
"I mean, we went there, like... for a month a million years ago. Why are you so jazzed to go back?" Dean questions as him and Ellie look at their brother.
"I'm not. I just think it's worth looking into." Sam explains.
"All right, well, what's our cover? FBI? Homeland Security? Swedish Exchange students?" Ellie asks.
"Don't worry. I got an idea." Sam tells them.

FLASHBACK - TRUMAN HIGH SCHOOL 1997

The Impala drives up to the front of the school. Young Sam and Dean get out of the car, Ellie is quick to jump out of the car with a grin, she goes to the driver's window and gives John a kiss on the cheek who smiles at her with a wink.
"Thanks, Dad." Dean says in the car window. "Come on, El." The youngest Winchester is quick to join her big brother and he grabs her hand, the three siblings walk towards the school.
"Right El, you're gonna be in the middle school right next to us. I'll drop you off everyday at the front steps and pick you up everyday right there. Don't move off those steps until I come and get you everyday, okay?" Dean asks his little sister, she gives him a big grin and nods. "You two got your lunch? Books? Butterfly knife?" He looks at his little brother and sister.
"Yeah, Dean." Sam says with a sigh.
"You okay?" Dean asks.
"Sure...." Sam mutters.
"Sammy..."
"I mean, look, this is the third school we've been to this year, and it's only November. I'm just sick of always being the new kid." Sam says.
"Sammy, I'm starting the first grade of middle school today!" Ellie states trying to make him feel better, Sam smiles at his little sister.
"You will both be fine. If anyone gives either of you any trouble, you let me know. Relax. Dad said this hunt will take him two weeks, tops. As soon as he gets back, we're out of here." Dean tells them and ruffles Ellie's hair with his spare hand. Sam goes off into the school while Dean walks his little sister over the road still holding her hand. When they walk over to near the school Ellie quickly wriggles her hand out of her brother's grasp, he looks over at her with a questioning look.
"I don't wanna be seen holding my brother's hand that's so lame." Ellie explains causing Dean to smirk. He reaches in his jacket pocket and pulls out a full piece of paper.
"Right this is your class schedule. Don't lose this, okay? And remember what I told you, repeat it back to me." Dean orders, she rolls her eyes at this and groans.
"De-"
"No whining, squish. Tell me what I said."
"To wait on the middle school front steps until you come and get me and I won't move off these steps." Ellie tells him, Dean smiles at her and kisses her forehead.
"That's my girl. Now go and learn something, you get into any trouble, you call me okay?" Dean says, Ellie nods and he gives her a wink, he reluctantly walks away from his little sister. She watches him go and turns to the school taking a deep breath in.
