The Impala drives down a road lined with trees and past a WELCOME TO PENNSYLVANIA sign. ~
"The radio around here sucks." Dean states as he turns off the radio and looks at his brother. "Come on, man. Jobs don't get much sweeter than this, you know? Dead vic with a gnawed-on neck, body drained of blood, and a witness who swears up and down that it was a vampire."
"No, I-I agree. It's a hell of a case." Sam explains causing Ellie to roll her eyes and lean forward.
"A little more gusto, please." Ellie tells her brother.
"It's just... the world is coming to an end. Things are a little complicated, you know?" Sam says to his brother and sister.
"Yeah, well, we can't save the world, not today anyway. What we can do is chop off some vamps' heads." Ellie smiles.
"Come on, Sam, it's like the good old days, and honest to goodness monster hunt. It's about time the Winchesters got back to tackling a straightforward, black and white case." Dean tells his brother as Ellie nods along.

OKTOBERFEST 2008

Sam, Dean adjust their suits while Ellie sorts out her pencil skirt.
"I have not missed this stupid outfit." Ellie grumbles as Dean laughs.
"We still got to see the new Raiders movie." Dean states which causes his sister to nod.
"Saw it." Sam tells them.
"Without us?!" Dean asks incredulously.
"Dean, you were in Hell and Ellie, I thought you were dead." Sam explains
"That's no excuse." Ellie states.
"Big pretzel!" Dean shouts with excitement, Ellie looks over with the same excitement and they both rush over as Sam smiles and shakes his head. Dean takes two pretzels from the vendor while Ellie gets one, he hands it over to Sam. They all take bites of their pretzels as a waitress walks past them.
"Guten tag."
"Guten tag yourself." Dean replies with a mouth full and the three walk over to the man.
"Sheriff Dietrich." Sam calls out causing him to turn around.
"You three from the fed?" The sheriff asks.
"Agents Angus, Young and Miller." Ellie tells him with a smile and they show their badges.
"We called ahead about your, uh, problem." Sam explains.
"Right. Um... I'll tell you what, why don't we talk this out away from the crowd, huh?" The sheriff says.

MORGUE

The three Winchesters and the sheriff stand next the body as he draws back the sheet.
"Marissa Wright, 26. Just up from Lockhard from the 'fest. Terrible. Just terrible. It's the last thing this town needs at peak tourist season." The sheriff explains.
"Definitely the last thing Marissa Wright needed." Sam snaps back as Ellie turns the body's head and sees two dark puncture marks on her neck like a vampire bite, she nudges Dean and gets him to look at it.
"What the hell?" Dean says.
"Yeah, you got me - I mean this killer's some kind of grade-A wacko, right? I mean, some Satan worshipping, Anne Rice-reading, gothic, psycho vampire wannabe." Sheriff Dietrich guesses.
"Sheriff, in your report, you mentioned a witness." Ellie says.
"Yeah, I wished I didn't. But our witness insisted. That's Ed Brewer. Not exactly what you'd call reliable."

BAR

The three Winchesters walk into a bar, they see waitresses dressed in Oktoberfest. They walk over to one of the waitresses at the bar.
"I remember you." She smiles at Dean.
"And I remember you..." Dean flirts back causing Ellie to roll her eyes to Sam. He then looks at her name badge. "Jamie. I never forget a pretty... everything."
"We're looking for Ed Brewer." Ellie interjects.
"What do you want with Ed?" Jamie asks.
"Well, are uh... federal agents." Dean explains with a smirk as the three show their badges. "Mr. Brewer was witness to a serious crime. We just need to-"
"Wait a minute. You're a fed? Wow, you don't come on like a fed. Seriously?" Jamie asks with raised eyebrows causing Dean to lean towards her.
"I'm a maverick, ma'am. A rebel with a badge. One thing I don't play by: the rules." Dean winks as Sam and Ellie look at each with with amused looks.
"Okay, maverick. Um, so where can we find Mr. Brewer?" Sam asks trying to change the subject.
