The table looked really comfortable right now. I clutch the stab wound and look out the window above to see a plane taking off.

My eyes adjust to the brightness of the room.

Stuffy air
'Hell seems similar to a hospital'
' Wait...'
I shakily place my hand against my chest .

The door creaks open and a nurse pops her head in. She looks suprised but then settles for a polite smile.
"You're awake ! That's good ! I'm Nurse Barbara and I'm taking care of you in this shift." She says in a soft tone.
'Nurse Barbara , huh ?'
"How ironic..." I mutter quietly to myself.
She tilts her head in confusion.
"Beg your pardon , sir ?"
