Tik, Tok. Tik, Tok.
I've been counting up the days of your disappearance.
I am aware of how much it hurts me but I can't help it.
Every day feels like an eternity without your presence.
Now I can only hope that I'll be the same when you come back.

All the jokes we exchanged, all the chaos we made.
All the things we said, all the songs we sang.
All the love we shared, all the poems we wrote.
All the theories I had and all the fear you did.

I fear that they will only remain as a memory.
Tucked in the deepest pits of my memory.
I fear that I'll forget you.
I fear that you will.

Words are like money.
You can have a lot, but never always keep it.
We made so many promises.
One of them is bound to be untrue...right?
I dread the day we break these promises.
I dread the day you find someone better.
I dread the day you'll tell me you don't love me anymore.
I dread the day you'll decide to let me go.
I hope I can be strong enough to face it by then.

But deep down, I know.
I know I love you so much.
I love you so much I'll never be ready.
Never be ready for you to leave me.
Leave me and find someone better.
Find someone better and forget me.
Forget me and...kill me from the inside.
I can never be ready for that.
