"Jessica isn't breathing!"
The last day of camp, and an early morning once again to prepare the campers on their journey home.
"What do you mean?"
It was when breakfast was served, and a few losing their appetites by the outburst of frantic.
"There's blood everywhere! Please, help!"
It was Lucas who signaled the alarm, after noticing the early riser hadn't gotten up yet. Cassidy first took action upon his call and Jamie soon followed. As per Lucas' exclamations, Jessica was inside her luxurious tent -of which she was too selfish to share- sprawled across her sleeping bag with the thick red pillowing her crown.
Lucas still recovering from the immediate shock, now had tears welling up in his eyes. Cassidy was the first to check for a pulse, confirming that she still had one. A boy who couldn't keep his mouth shut, commented "It's always the rich ones who gets it," was sent to a private room where he got lectured and received a decent punishment therefor. Nobody knew what it was, but the supervisor informed them it'd not be pleasant.
Jamie finally decided to enter the hall, addressing the great problem at hand.
"What happened, we assume last night, is completely and utterly sick. Disgusting. And unacceptable by any means. This doesn't have to be an investigation." Authority was oozing from his voice, his unforgiving eyes would haunt even the most dreadful serial killer.
"If you hold any - any - information whatsoever about Jessica's attack, now would be a pretty good time to speak up," he informed them. "And," he continued after a brief pause with caution laced in his voice, "don't let me give you an ultimatum."
Small chatter started immediately after he had spoken. It was clear by their facial expressions who were telling the truth when they claimed they know nothing. However, two in particular had a faint idea of who'd be guilty, while the one knew precisely...
