The party had already lasted almost half of the night. Majority of the guests were college students believe it or not. Taehyung's Instagram had taken Hoseok's campus by storm.

"Have you seen Kim Namjoon?" Jimin had asked around aimlessly. He'd get a puff of hot alcohol breath saying 'no' or suggestive looks. From females and males. Taehyung had bought Jimin his party attire knowing the Christian boy would show up in a suit and tie. Instead, he wore a black t-shirt under a sunset and beige jacket and black, ripped skinny jeans. Too skinny.

After an hour of going around in circles, Namjoon had finally arrived with his guest, Amber Liu. You'd think a handsome gentleman like Namjoon would bring a gorgeous girl, but Amber was more than that. She was flat out charming. The piercings, the tattoos, short cut hair, and masculine clothes made her seem mesmerizing. It fit her personality seeing the way she walked in with pure confidence. To Jimin, she fit for Namjoon. No wonder he wanted to bring her. You can't enjoy anyone who always plays it safe, right?

"Jiminie!" Namjoon boomed over the music, dimples set in place. God those dimples swooned many. He pulled Amber to the smaller male.

"Finally, you're here! I've been trying to keep my promise to you, hyung," Jimin responded brightly, sparing Amber a brief glance.

"Yeah, I know. Amber had to break up with her boyfriend real quick. Amber, this is my best friend ever to exist, Park Jimin. Chim, this is my college sister from another mister, Amber Liu," Namjoon introduced, landing an elbow on each of their shoulders. Amber smirked,

"Joon, you told me he was cute, but I wasn't expecting this. I mean, look at him, he's so out of place, poor thing. Don't worry Jiminie, Amber noona will loosen you up, okay?" Namjoon facepalms at being exposed and seems to shrink compared to smaller woman, mentally criticizing himself. Jimin looked down at being pointed out, flustered of being embarrassed. He thought he was doing a mighty fine job pretending.

    "Noona...?" Was all Jimin responded.

"What? Namjoon didn't tell you I'm his upperclassman?" She grinned, punching Namjoon in his chest in which he grunted softly.

"Hey, Chim, why don't we go and get that song started, yeah?" Namjoon suggested in a hurry before the situation became more chaotic, already pushing Jimin towards the DJ station.

"But Amber noo-" Jimin began, cut off by Namjoon.

"Oh, she's not that important. Let's go."

"I heard that, dickwad!" Amber belted with the same smirk from before, picking up a cup from the ground and landing a hit right on the back of Namjoon's head. He turned slowing with a menacing glare,

"Do you know how many STD's could have been on that cup?!"

"Can it, Kim," she rebutted, turning on her heels and blending into the crowd of students. Jimin decided not to bother with the older two and found himself in the center of attention, microphone in hand.

"Excuse me, everyone. Good evening, my name is Park Jimin, friend of Taehyung. If he would please come here, I have a surprise for you, my friend. His skin was on fire and blood rushing, but he did his best to power through it. He thought of it as church to calm his nerves. The gathering of teens and young adults as if they were in a youth service. Taehyung stood with a confused yet amused expression once he was in front of Jimin. Words of pure admiration and love came from Jimin's mouth he sang for Taehyung. The busy humdrum of the household was stopped by the melody. Jimin hadn't noticed how his eyes met with Namjoon's as he sang the words 'Me with you and us together.' When his performance reached it's gentle finish, he received an applause of a lifetime. He took a hurried bow before rushing to Taehyung to give him a tight hug. Then, the boy ran off to a closed off part of the large home; the indoor pool. Once arrived, he let out a sigh of relief and took a seat on one of the benches.

"Jimin? Are you in here?" Namjoon's voice faded into the open space of the dark room. The light illuminating from around the pool, reflected the water on to the high ceiling.

"Yeah?" Jimin responded softly, turning his head to the entrance where Namjoon's head poked out from before the taller stood there in full view. Namjoon walked to Jimin's spot on the bench, hands tucked into his pockets. His gaze as he looked down at Jimin was strong and determined.

"That song was beautiful, and you executed it well... And you look great by the way. It's way different from school or the church boy look. Not that you looked bad or anything-" he stammered. Jimin stood up from his spot with a gentle chuckle,

"I get it, Namjoon... Thank you. I really couldn't have done it without you." They kept their eyes on the other. An awkward silence floated around them. "So, why did you come looking for me?"

"Well, for one, you ran off right after your song. I wanted to check that you were okay. But I also wanted to talk to you about something. Would you mind? We could walk around the pool to make things less stiff, yeah?" Namjoon spoke clearly yet hesitantly. His voice wavered with uncertainty. Jimin simply turned and took a few short steps, a playful smile pulling at the corners of his lips. When Namjoon was nervous, he always felt bigger than the other.

"As you wish. Come on, Joon." They both put their feet in front of the other, walking away from the entrance. Tapping from the soles of their shoes echoed faintly, filling the silence. Namjoon's words were sudden.

"We never discussed that night..." Namjoon began,"and I think we should. Or else it will nag us to death in the back of our minds." Jimin didn't want to admit it, but he was right. The younger too a deep breath, nodding in agreement. Namjoon took the opportunity to continue. "'I don't want my heart to be swayed by you...' That's what you said to me. What did you mean?" Neither of them showed signs of edge nor fear, but Jimin's heart was racing. Was he supposed to lie under the eyes of God or be sent to hell for admitting his truth? Risk eternal life or his best friend? His faith was strong not like no other at his age, but we was still a young and dumb teenager. Despite this, risking it all was fresh on the brain at times.
