My entry for the #LenovoBackToSchool contest. ~ My agender protagonist, Alex, is worried about going back to school. They came out over the summer, and is worried about bullying at school. This is their story of self acceptance, hardship and not giving a f*ck.

I'm not as perfect or as strong as they think. I may be an alpha's daughter but I'm weak. I don't want them to fear me... but they do... I want to be their friend... but they don't wanna be mine... I wanna be normal or at least as normal as our kind gets.. but that'll never happen because I was born to lead. I felt like a coward in a warrior's mask... So I ran with my tail behind my legs. I never looked back until news spread that my family had been killed in a rouge ambush. Should I go back... or keep running? Mayleah has struggled her whole between being perfect or being real so when she decides to run away she is not only running away from her life and duty to her pack but also at the chance of finding her mate. If she goes back she knows she'll have to face what happened to her family. Can she fix things or will she do what she does best and run away.
