Cease Stories

A society based on endless growth is unsustainable...entropy ensures this. In the year of 2050, the world that seemed to be a near Utopia gave out...the vital oil reserves almost completely run dry, with only select reserves still pumping, and leaving entire nations without power. The world is plunged into darkness, and a teenage girl named Amanda residing in Las Rocas, California is thrust in a world where it becomes survival of the fittest and man becomes cannibalistic. With her family, they make a run from the uprisings plaguing the heavily populated areas and run for the supposed safe havens in the untamed areas of the Midwest, dodging crazed individuals, and armed gangs fighting for the remaining oil reserves. This is a story of symbolism, and a warning to what extortion of our Earth will lead to, and represents our psychological foundation of animalism. This work is heavily influenced by the musical works of the band Muse...primarily the messages told in the music in their albums "The 2nd Law" and "The Resistance."

Everyday's typical. Routines and unexceptional stuffs, seems like traffic lights. Once go then stop. People do what they want, to feel their lips curve to smile. To run out of their ordeal with a proud laugh of freedom. Everyday, you wake up. Everyday, you dream. Everyday, you try. And every single day, you fall. You became less founded. It will make you think of something up to make your life pause forever. But then sun shines, stones crack into indefinite pieces. You are to deal with it. You are the control panel of your life. You are your own medium to change everything. Because everyday's typical and it's you to live it or not. Marse Lewis, an ill-fated prodigy. She is just a failed creation, meaningless. Because of circumstances seemed to be subjugated by her fate, LOVE means nothing at all. Maybe, there's still love in her heart because of her sick mother and a young unfortunate brother. Yet some special kind of love doesn't keep her heart beating unnaturally. Will her corrupted fate change? Will she made her heart beats for love as her life being altered?

Trist got dumped by her boyfriend, Rizwan. So, she left him. A year later, she transferred school and from that place she met a very annoying and compulsive man branded as Mayor Cohen. Will she be able to stand with him?

God sent an angel from Heaven to help His creation, the Humans, to return their faith in Him and to restore balance for the greater good. He gave His angel 100 lives and set certain rules that she must follow until to her last life where her fate will be decided if she would be reunited with Him in the Heavens or she will cease to exist and all who knows her, Heaven or Earth will not remember her not even a single soul.

Let it hurt. Let it bleed. Let it heal. And let it go. Everything happens for a reason, the hard part is finding the reason.

What is someone to do when they are completely alone? They always comfort her and make her feel loved and that she is not alone. And who are they? Voices, voices in her head. Or are they in her head? When you live in a magical world where silence reigns, she now hears nothing but noise. And they never cease.
