In the peaceful village of Green Meadow stood an old house with a beautiful courtyard. Everyone called it Grandmother Lily's Magical Courtyard. The courtyard was filled with colorful flowers, tall trees, singing birds, and sparkling butterflies. But there was one strange thing. Every evening, just as the golden sun began to set, a tiny wooden gate hidden behind a jasmine vine would quietly glow. No one knew where it led. One summer morning, three children-Emma, Noah, and Grace-came to visit their grandmother. "Grandma, why does everyone call this place magical?" Emma asked. Grandmother Lily smiled warmly. "Because kindness makes ordinary places magical," she replied. The children looked at each other with curious eyes. That evening, while watering the flowers, Noah noticed the little wooden gate glowing with soft golden light. "Look!" he whispered. The three children carefully walked toward it. As Emma gently pushed the gate open, they gasped in amazement. On the other side was a breathtaking garden. Rainbow flowers sparkled like tiny stars. Crystal butterflies floated through the air. Friendly rabbits waved happily. A cheerful squirrel balanced golden acorns on its tail. At the center of the garden stood an ancient wishing tree. A tiny bluebird landed on one of its branches. "Welcome," the bird chirped. "This garden opens only to hearts filled with kindness." Suddenly, a faded golden leaf floated gently from the wishing tree. Grandmother Lily picked it up with a smile. "This is your first magical gift," she said. "But every gift comes with a mission." "What mission?" Grace asked excitedly. Grandmother pointed toward the village. "Tomorrow, someone will need your kindness." The children looked at the glowing leaf. It shined brighter and brighter. They smiled, knowing a wonderful adventure had just begun. This book is mostly set in the perspective of Naoko :) By the way, this is a pretty messy story and won't make much sense, it's just something I wanted to write somewhere because I liked it, so I decided to write it here like it's an actual book.
