In a relatively near future, an innovative technology has emerged. On social networks, rumours are circulating about strange phenomena whose authenticity is unknown, referred to as "Hologram Ghosts" Hiro Amanokawa and his younger identical twin brother, Sora, are middle school freshmen at Hazakura Academy, who by activating a mysterious device left behind by their father called the "Digivice -V-", has the effect of making unknown creatures that cannot be seen by ordinary people, the Digimon, visible to their eyes. Since the day they met Gammamon, a mischievous Digimon and Grusmon, a recursive, but kind Digimon entrusted to them by their father, Hiro and Sora are caught up in various strange phenomena: A man with a sewn mouth steals time from human beings, a mummy wanders around every night and kidnaps humans... The hologram ghosts are all around us and take us for target. From now on, here is the story of this other side of the world that nobody is aware of. Alongside their friends Kiyoshiro Higashimitarai and Angoramon, and later Kotaro Nomura and Jellymon. Hiro, Gammamon, Sora, and Grusmon dive into the mysterious world where these creatures live.

When he was 10 years old, Hiro, his identical twin brother and three other friends visited the Digital World. A visit that would change Hiro's life forever... Now, whenever Hiro grows, angry, outraged, or experiences anything that would increase his heart rate to alarming levels, a startling metamorphosis occurs. Now Hiro must solve the mysteries surrounding the "Hologram Ghosts" with his friends and family while trying to control the beast within.

Hiro, Ruli, and Kiyoshiro were tasked with creating a country that would bring Digimon and humans together. It's been 4 years since Quantamon's demand.
