A series of one-shots set in my homebrew world, Novaterra. Some one-shots may exist on their own, while others may link into a larger narrative thread. The '1799' in the title is short for the 1799th Year of the 7th Chronicle, the current time setting for most of this story's one-shots.

In a world where humanity has been divided for centuries with religious wars spanning continents a new threat arises. From the cold tundras and taigas of the north east unusual creatures are spotted. They start raiding and destroying frontier outposts, seemingly intelligent and used to the extreme cold, these creatures are seemingly unstoppable, razing cities as they go, will humanity be able to fight back? And will they help their centuries old enemies for the good of all mankind? A massive attack is soon to begin on the city of our main character, will he be able to help humanity?

This is a diary, or a journal, of a young man's early life. For no one can understand the meaning of his life but himself and no one can fully comprehend his existence but himself. He understands that his life is just a great miracle. He is the condensation of all the feelings in the world and through his being, he understands the meaning of happiness and sadness, joy and grief, freedom and subjection, and understanding and incomprehension. He is the beginning and the end of his life and in him, the world will be remembered as in the world, he will be remembered also. For truly, Beauty will save the world.
