This is the fourth part of a project called the "Daily Self Growth Journal." Its purpose is to prompt readers to journal through encouragement, motivation, and inspiration. In it, the first thing I do is provide a motivational, or inspirational quote from someone noteworthy. Then I provide a verse from the Bible, the source of God's wisdom. Then a vocabulary word to ponder. If you're not bored yet, feel free to read the message I include and see what you think. But the most important part is the role you take. That is to journal what's going on in your life. It's easy, just answer the daily journaling questions provided. The whole process shouldn't take much more than 5 minutes of your time, but I hope and pray those five minutes a day will change your life. Thanks, Jake

How did the entitlement attitude infect culture?

Alana Serena Vex is a highschool student who lives in her own world. She can only see the world through her own eyes. After being hurt, broken, torn down, and beaten up, she tries to find her own light. After being incredibly emotionally abused by her father, she shuts her emotions down for a while. Complications arise between her older sister, her father, and her mother. Alana tries to find peace between everything, but her patience is beginning to run out. Tired of being stuck in the middle, Alana decides to do something she's never done before. After character and soul searching, Alana's whole world begins to change as she receives an unknown power. She discovers another side of her that she's never seen before. This unknown power begins to take hold on everyone's life around her. Alana struggles to keep her powers under control because unfortunately... her powers are only feeding off of her emotions. Being closed in for so long can only make a person explode within a certain period of time. Alana has no where else to turn until she realizes one thing. Just when life has pinned her up against the wall, she can no longer hide behind a hardened heart. These powers are going to be the very thing that makes her come face to face with her most darkest secrets, fears, dreams, and nightmares. At the end of it all, she will have to decide on whether or not she will allow her powers to make her good or evil. *** Is forgiveness really worth it in the end? Is it possible for one to heal from constant damage? Why not torture all of those who caused havoc in your life? If humans had the power to obtain life..could we as a whole sincerely obtain it? With today's way of thinking, living, and viewing life as a whole? Well, let's just see how much a human can take. Are humans naturally good or naturally evil? Can life make one evil?...or good? Can life's storms determine one's fate? If life was to be put in the hands of a human, which side would have the victory? Good or Evil?
