For me, the pain of it all is that I know not when it will end. I no longer know my name, my title, my eyes or my kin. Not the ones I started with. Instead, I wake every single day wearing a new yet familiar face to spend with new yet familiar people. And today is no different.

A ghost promised them gold. They ran. The gate opened onto their graves. They saw their dead bodies. They saw their sins and good deeds. A voice asked: "Will you enter?" They refused. They fled. As the hum spreads deeper into the valley, resisting it feels less like survival and more like cruelty. Because the hum never demands obedience. It simply asks for participation. "The Static" is a literary horror novel exploring memory, grief, emotional exhaustion, and the terrifying solace of forgetting.

Together, they are pulled into a psychological and metaphysical descent driven by guilt, memory, and shadowy forces that threaten to erase their very selves. With each stop, he slips further from the world he knew-until sleep, silence, and the loop itself claim him completely. The ride never ends.

"After everything, you're... one of the few things that actually feels real." In 2030, the sky cracked open. By 2040, Earth belongs to the Biopods. In the present, 2049, humanity has mostly given up, trying to survive through this broken world. They arrived as silent meteorites, egg-shaped monoliths that burrowed into the Earth. Each Biopod is a living factory: it devours biological matter-humans, animals, forests-and reconfigures it into cold, sentient machines. The machines they make vary, adapting to terrain, resistance, and resource availability. They don't just kill. They convert. Matthew Riots, gunner from the Frontline, no longer wishing to fight, left the Frontline for Zeta. There he reunited with his sister, living out their quiet lives. But no peace truly exists in a world full of Biopods. Zeta fell, he and his sister completely lost contact. Promising to keep surviving no matter what, Matthew journeyed to the promised land of Athena. The story of Rust And Stardust gives us insights on what little humanity is left in the apocalypse. A story focusing on the theme of family, love and human's connection. In a broken world where survival is a luxury, will our main character finally find peace and happiness again?
