No one notices when it starts. That's the point. This isn't a story about monsters, ghosts, or violence. It's about attention - and what happens when it becomes unnecessary. Each chapter changes something small. Not in the world. In you. There is no twist. There is no explanation. And nothing here needs to be watched to continue. You don't have to keep reading. But most people do.

Late But Arrived offers a simple service: send them your loved one's remains, and they'll turn them into a synthetic diamond. Installed inside a quantum computer, the crystal is used to build a model of the person you lost, trained on the digital footprint they left behind. "Late But Arrived - let them shine again." To Mr. Bennett, it seemed like a miracle. Until it started to feel wrong. A sci-fi horror story about artificial intelligence, the commodification of grief, and what emerges when the boundary between the real and the possible begins to fail.

A collection of unsettling tales where the ordinary fractures into something far more disturbing. Each story invites you into a different reality-one where shadows linger too long, silence feels alive, and some things are better left unseen. Not all horrors scream. Some wait... quietly.

Brian believed that if he kept his head down, did things right, and stayed patient, life would eventually make room for him. Then the airport fell apart. Set alongside the events of Resident Evil: Degeneration, this short horror chronicle follows an ordinary man navigating chaos he doesn't understand-through protests, infection, containment, and loss-without heroics, without answers, and without rescue. This is a story about being one step too late. About believing help is coming. And about how the world ends for people who never thought it would notice them at all. --- I will be posting this story on Royal Road ---

In a fog-covered coastal city, humanity is slowly losing its memories. It begins with small things - forgotten names, childhood events, and familiar faces - but soon becomes far more horrifying. People start forgetting how to speak, how to recognize themselves, and eventually how to survive. Some victims are drawn to the ocean at night, walking into the water and disappearing beneath the fog without leaving ripples. Dr. Scott Lockwood, a trauma and memory therapist, begins treating patients experiencing disturbing symptoms. They hear whispers from dead phone lines and radios, as if their forgotten memories are calling them back. Scott soon notices patterns - his patients are connected to him in ways he cannot explain. His own memories of his sister's disappearance begin changing, rewriting themselves into darker, more disturbing versions of events he thought he knew. As he investigates, Scott discovers the memory loss is not a disease but a survival mechanism triggered by something ancient buried beneath the city. Long ago, humanity discovered a terrifying truth and collectively chose to forget it. Now, something beneath the city is waking up and demanding the return of emotional meaning, identity, and history. Scott learns he was psychologically guided into becoming a memory archivist for this entity. His job was to collect and preserve memories before they were erased forever. He must choose between saving humanity's memories and risking the awakening of something that could destroy the world - or allowing humanity to forget the truth forever, even if it means losing himself in the process.

A haunting, intimate portrait of a lonely, hunchbacked scavenger who escapes unbearable shame by building rag dolls from trash. Convinced life is cyclical and addicted to the ritual of creating, he clings to the momentary clarity that each finished doll brings, even as his mind slides deeper into self-destructive patterns and obsession with suffering. Ostracized by the townspeople and tormented by cruel children, he is falsely accused of a crime, beaten, and thrown into near-death - where a luminous, hallucinatory encounter with a skeletal vision and a remembered kindness briefly restores his sense of beauty and longing. That fragile revelation collapses when he returns to the world of contempt, and in a final, tragic outburst he confronts the embodiment of the life he never had. Tender and terrible at once, the story explores shame, memory, the hunger for connection, and how humiliation can turn a wounded human into something monstrous.

Set only years before the events of Dominic's story, Aevum believed his natural-born command over time could achieve the impossible. He could absorb every secret within a grimoire and survive to tell the tale. But when he touched the Grimoire of Threads, the torrent of timelines crashed into him, nearly shattering his mind. To survive, his powers flared uncontrollably and hurled him into a future far beyond his comprehension. He awoke in a city of neon and steel, where towering skyscrapers hummed with drones, augmented humans blurred the line between man and machine, and corporations wielded power stronger than any crown. Reality itself felt unstable, fragments of timelines flickered like glitches, and time bent unpredictably around him. Displaced and hunted by forces he did not yet understand, corporate interests, rogue AIs, and those attuned to temporal anomalies, Aevum had to navigate a world where knowledge was both weapon and curse, and every decision, every action, could ripple across countless futures. To survive, he has to outthink mortals, anticipate technology, and master powers that now strains his mind with every use. Time itself becoming both his ally and his adversary.

Time doesn't really make sense here. Neither does space. How did you get here? When did you get here? No one will ever answer your questions, so it's best to just not ask. All you need to know is that Camp Good Company will be keeping you for the rest of the summer. Try not to get eaten by the lake monster.

A violent anarchic descent into the basest depths of human consciousness. Explored through a heavy use of stream of consciousness writing, metaphysical imagery and graphic violence. Extreme adult content ahead (I mean it.) Including, but not limited to: Beheadings, extensive shootouts spanning multiple paragraphs, detailed drug use, racial slurs and more. I do not endorse nor condone any of the actions/language used herein.

You were authorized to read this. You were not authorized to stop. SCP-004 is not an object, entity, or location. It is a process-one that remains stable only while someone is actively reviewing it. Personnel assigned to SCP-004 are required to maintain continuous procedural compliance. Missed review cycles correlate with containment failures across the facility. No direct connection has ever been proven. What begins as a routine administrative task slowly becomes something else entirely. If you are still reading, containment is holding. If you stop... ...someone else will notice. Life was never fragile. It was always temporary. Cities rise believing they are permanent. People move through their days convinced they matter. Systems hum, lights stay on, and the world pretends it is stable. Then something begins to move. Not a man. Not a monster. Something older than fear and colder than reason. There are no rules to break. No mercy to beg for. No escape to be earned. Only inevitability; slow, deliberate, absolute. As bodies fall and systems collapse, humanity searches desperately for meaning, for a name, for something to blame. They will not find it. This is not a story about survival. This is a story about what happens when the world realizes it was never in control. I am not coming. I am already here.

An anthology of horror where each chapter stands alone-until it doesn't. New characters. New nightmares. One recurring phrase: This is not for you. As the warning repeats, a larger pattern begins to form, connecting every story in ways you weren't meant to see. You were warned. You kept reading.

šŸ’ What if your memories weren't yours? What if reality was a trap? Elisa thought she was just a student, chasing grades, proving she was worth something. Until the cracks appeared. A teacher with eyes too sharp. A notebook filled with things she shouldn't know. A friend who disappears like he never existed. And a world that rewrites itself every time she blinks. Something is watching. Waiting. Hunting. She has one choice-keep pretending, or ask the question that will change everything. Because once she does... there's no going back. šŸ–¤ Reality is a lie. And she's about to tear it apart. šŸ”„ For fans of dark academia, psychological thrillers, and reality-bending mysteries.
