Não obstante sua relevância, este é um tema que não é comumente abordado na literatura psicanalítica. Construir um bom ambiente psicanalítico (também chamado de enquadre ou setting) vai muito além da decoração e do cafezinho. O ambiente analítico é o lugar onde a análise irá se desenvolver, sendo que construí-lo de forma satisfatória é uma responsabilidade do analista.
