This is a story about Jenny a 25 year olds story from how she was living a perfectly normal life with her husband and two children Sophie and Ellie happily in America! when her life change dramatically that day she was kidnapped / drugged and trained to become a handmaid. Will life ever be how it use to be again, will she ever get to see her children again or will she always be trapped in this new world! This new world being "Eden".

This is my take on a handmaid's tale reader insert as you do not find many here and I thought it should be a slightly yandere Gotham Bruce Wayne x reader. My name is Joann. I'm seventeen years old. I live in the Republic of Gilead as an econowife. I've been married for six months now, and I'm a little over five months pregnant. Some say women like me are among the lucky ones. Maybe they're right. But each of us carries our own burdens-silent or spoken. This is mine. *This story is based in the Novel Universe of The Handmaid's Tale by Margret Atwood. I don't not own the original source material. These characters are my own, I've stayed as close to the source material as possible but as this is a different story, set in a different district, some details will be changed*

Set in 2024, A girl who's spent most of her life taken captive in Gilead, faintly remembers her youth and her real parents from the 'before'. Gilead is a strict society where women have little freedom and are seen mainly for their roles in family and childbirth. Children are highly valued, but mothers are treated mostly as vessels to bring new life. Adeline grows up in this world, first seen as one of Gilead's "gifts from God." But as she gets older, she's prepared for the life of a Handmaid, attending training where she's taught obedience and her role in Gilead.
