Dr. Xavier Carter has been on the run for almost three years. He's wanted by police for crimes he didn't commit and hunted by private mercenaries who wish to eliminate him and his work because Carter made the medical discovery of the century. He managed to create the one thing that most people in medical industry believe would be bad for business: a cure. This novel will also be posted on other forums such as Royal Road and Inkitt.

When the core of a Utopian society starts to question their own ways the community is thrown into chaos. This is basically part of "The Giver" told in the Givers point of view. It was supposed to capture the voice of a wise, tired old man. It was another school project that I decided to share. Hope you like it :)
