One of the hardest experience in my life is living without a dream goal. Through many hardships I figured out my passion. Passion and Dream goal are two different things. I grew up an angry kid in foster care, considered unplaceable at one point, so no one wanted to take me in. I got used to it, let it harden me and separate me from the hurt. Until someone opened their home to me and gave me a chance, cracking the armor I kept up. It didn't change the pattern of my life, but it changed everything else about me, and I will always love the "Taylors" for it.

Sometimes, when we are alone we allow ourselves to feel, to be vulnerable. What lies behind the mask we show to society is what truly matters. Here are some poems and short stories, I write whenever I am alone. Hope you like them as much as I enjoy writing them.

A brief account of how Grace and Hope meet up and move out of the darkness they once were so used to. Hey everyone, I'm Sarah, the writer of this story. It's October 3rd, 1915. I walk into my pre-k class. Maybelline, the makeup brand, just came out. It was everywhere, haunting me. Everywhere I looked there it was, I couldn't escape the wrath of this powerful brand.

Kate is a girl who has lost everything, family, friends, her job. She is a strong girl, but problems and complications surround her. He had to live on the street, but an unexpected event changes his life.

Some people haven't struggled with mental health their whole lives and some have. everyone's experience with mental health is different and that's ok, but this story is an adaptation of a true story about a young girl who struggles with depression and anxiety.

Well mostly downs. After all, the three stooges are in her life of course, also known as her bullies since elementary who made everybody in all their years of school hate even the smallest sight of her and have pretty much made her life a living hell. But will everything change when someone else joins their group? The person who will do everything but leave her alone. What it means to be strong is subjective to a person's experience. After years of pretending to be strong and okay through life's up and downs as a young, Black girl, a devastating breakup sends me into a whirlwind of depression and anxiety. Intense feelings and thoughts send me on a dark path I never thought I would travel. I suffer inside until I'm finally brave enough to reach out for support from my friends and family. Their overwhelming support and compassion lead me to getting the help I need to begin my healing and recovery journey. *** I am thrilled to be working with Maybelline to help bring awareness to Anxiety and Depression that many of us deal with - especially since the start of the pandemic.
