this was one of my first serious creepypastas that I wrote last year, a lot of the story is stuck on a Google doc, that I can't edit on my phone, so this'll mostly be screenshots, sorry.

Anna Shaw could not have imagined what was about to befall her relatively peaceful and content life. Unbeknownst to her, powerful yet decidedly maniacal ex-husband, fashion tycoon Ricardo Diccento is quietly planning revenge for her abandonment, her unknown long-lost daughter Grayson Lewis (also planning revenge but with much less enthusiasm) slips anonymously into her life and best friend & cousin, Maxine Caron, desperately fleeing her upcoming marriage in England after a devastating discovery, arrives on Anna’s doorstep in Australia. Coinciding with all this, her passion for racing steps up a gear, as her champion three year old thoroughbred Fredrickson - trained by the gorgeous Jackson Betts and his clever old father Joe - is about to commence his Spring Carnival Campaign, culminating with the prestigious and most grueling race of all, the Melbourne Cup. Anna innocently believed everything was running smoothly, until one fateful day Grayson disappears, her star horse is injured and worst of all, she realises that she’s been deceived by the one person she was sure she could trust. Suddenly, Anna is the one that needs rescuing. An enthralling story of passionate revenge, unrequited love and desperate lust - all perfectly set in the glamorous and at times dangerous world of thoroughbred racing. The jockeys are fierce and crooked, the horses are magnificent and the action is stiflingly hot!

OPENING PARAGRAPH: Three weeks guesting under the so called roof of Silas the Survivalist was quite enough, thank you very much.
