They've got a new case. But this time they're finally going through it as Detective and Assis-Boyfriend. When Todd's neighbor has a ghost in her apartment Dirk and Todd come to solve the case. Except they solved it much sooner than they anticipated, at least part of it. The universe is just getting started. This is just the tip of the iceberg, actually, no. It's the whole iceberg in the Arctic Ocean. Lots of (and ONLY) fluff lol Oh, and also blood, gore, and unnecessary violence but this is Dirk Gently (rather Bart) we're talking about here. Dirk finally has his freedom. Blackwing has collapsed. Priest is dead. The Holistic Detective Agency is open for business, and business is booming. No longer watching over his shoulder, Dirk finally starts to relax, enjoying his newfound life and finally planning for a sure future. But he can never escape from his past - not really. When a ghost comes back to haunt him, and the universe threatens to rip apart at the very seams, Dirk has to muster every ounce of courage he has to work with his demons, rather than fight them.
