A young girl was found dead during the Qing dynasty in China, blood covered the walls with the furniture all disturbed yet who exactly would kill this young innocent girl. Why is she dead? Who killed her? And why is the blood on the wall not her own?

My entry for the Hilroy #StartWriting contest. I used to wish for a singular moment when a truly brilliant character would enter my mind in a blinding flash, just as I had believed Harry Potter was created. But there's more to starting to write a story than that.

I've been a writer most of my life. In fact, I feel like the longest, most valuable and certainly most rewarding relationship I've had - and will likely ever have - is one with words. Here is the secret SAUCE that I've concocted and freely use in my writing process. I hope it inspires you and boosts your appetite to create scrumptious works of your own.

Everyone is unique to their personal process of writing and like my fellow writers we even use it to cope with our daily lives. To create, enjoy, and share. As someone who also copes with a mental illness, mine being BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), I have used writing as a way to connect with others and I hope sharing my thought process with everyone may show you a piece of my brain when I #startwriting. This entry is a little messy, but if you did take the time to read it I appreciate it. Good Luck to everyone in the contest as well!
