We follow the story of Nettle Lark as she proves to a certain wing leader, who is not our beloved shadow daddy, that she is not a coward. That she is suppose to be there even though she is not as good at the training as she had hoped to be. Nettle and her squad get in to more trouble than they plan to and we see where that gets them. But also we follow the story of strangers meeting and we leave it to Zihnal, God of Luck, to see where life takes them. This story takes place a year before we meet Violet Sorrengail. This is oc x oc story in the world of The Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros with all our beloved characters involved.
