This is a short story I had to write in class about a positive change I made in my life. Thought I'd share it on here... It is a heartfelt story. I could have added more detail (though that's what was wanted) I kept it low because I didn't want to make my teacher cry, get worried, or just in all, freak out. Also, all the detail I could have added was just too much work for my lazy mind right now....

Charlie Sutherland lives a simple life, spending his days surfing and studying and his nights with his girlfriend, Victoria. But things take a complicated turn when he meets Addie Morgan, a girl who's dealing with her own personal demons that no one knows about, and an unfortunate accident brings him closer to her world than he would think possible. In her, he finds a world opposite to his-a world of deep emotion, loud characters with big questions, and dark memories of a past she's wrestling to leave behind. Will Charlie ever find his way back home? And better yet, will Addie ever find peace within herself?
