But this didn't only affect Todoroki, but the "friends" around him too, specifically Midoriya and Bakugou. Midoriya became a hot queen while Bakugou became obese.

All unhealthy children are removed from the lineup, and forced to participate in the games. Children under ten are merely stuck in cages. Older children are operated on, then stuck in cages with teams, and forced to play in the games. Only the surviving members of the winning team may live. And Riz's team want to make sure that that is them.
