Madeleine Ellington grew up pushing people out of her life. Afraid of what they would think of her. After losing her grandmother and mother on her third birthday, her and her brother are sent to live with their aunt and uncle in America. As they get older Maddies brother Danny looks into what really happened all those years ago, and more importantly, what happened to their father. Maddie soon finds herself back in England with 5 handsome strangers saying that they will protect her. That She is safe with them. But maddie knows all to well there is no such thing as 'safe'.
