Five female detectives in the 1970s push past sexism and injustice to solve the biggest case of their lifetime. Pamela Harmon was a detective in Brooklyn. Karen Peters was a detective in Manhattan. Margot Greene was a detective in Queens. Diana Pauley was a detective in the Bronx. Lane Lynch was a detective in Staten Island. While they'd never met and never knew of each other, they were all women and detectives, which in the 70s wasn't much common. Already bitter about their discriminative workplace, they'd developed a sense that they could only work alone and never tolerated anyone but themselves. Now faced with a major case that connects their five departments and points to the Italian Mafia, they have to work together. Will they succeed and push past stereotypes? Or will their different personalities keep them apart? Written by Marti Cover art by Thefrikinpotato
