Alex and Charlie are the best of friends, she may be a homeless substitute teacher trying to make her way in the world, he may be a poor middle school boy, but they've always been there for each other. Him more then her, sharing his life and home with the adult he trusts as though she were his sister. So when he finds the fifth golden ticket it's only natural he decides Alex should come with him.

Upon entering however, Alex quickly becomes the center of Wonka's attention as she finds herself weak in his presence. But it's not just that, both of them have the strangest feeling they've met before...
