Trying to survive the apocalypse isn't just about slaying the undead. It's a 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 lot more complicated than that. Hardly anybody ever considers the barbaric murderers with the Cheshire Cat smiles or the cunning killers lurking around for their next victim to slice open. Or what about the huge range of communities out there, trying their best to thrive in the new world? Surely, not all of them are bad... right?

Well, Brooklyn Scotts would be inclined to disagree to that last point made. For the girl has been surviving on her own since it all started, joining and leaving small groups here and there. But when she just so happens to unintentionally seek help on her travels, her whole world is turned upside down and she finds herself breaking all the rules.
