I'm the emo kid. I'm seventeen and I'm about to start a new year at Ridgewood High. I was passing through, trying to avoid everybody like the usual.. because who would want to be seen near an emo? I managed to trip on the school's most popular jock, Trent Bryars. I got bullied a lot by everyone, so this was one of the millions of downfalls I've made. He kept beating me until.. she came.

"What the-I just got to this school and bullying is happening! Can my life get any worse?!" a female groaned as she fell from rushing into a wall, most likely Trent. He turned around as soon as he heard her. She was beautiful, not that I care. Deep hazel eyes with blue around the pupil.. long, luscious brown hair just a shade before black. I stared at her and she stared at me. I knew right then and there this would be a long year.

He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it.
