A million year old air-born parasite was released from an ice berg that has melted near the Western Norwegian coast. It travels through your lungs to your blood stream and ends at the brain where it starts shutting down certain parts. The host is known to have frequent violent episodes, moments of distance, and internal bleeding. There is no known cure as of now and every host ends up a brain dead violent shell of what they used to be.

Due to global warming the Ice Caps were melting, this caused Bacteria unknown to scientists to be released, hundreds of thousands of years old. It was quick and spread rapidly killing humans within three days. Once the host was dead parasites started growing at an alarming rate eating there hosts. Only certain humans were Immune, and their blood could also kill these parasites that could grow up to 8 feet high. The Earth was healing itself from an infestation and mother nature was repairing itself.

A special quarantine is organized for the nations who have fallen ill as researchers around the world attempt to find a cure. Those trapped inside the quarantine suffer from pain, loss, and even madness as they are reduced to that of mere humans. This brings light to them as they realize what it is like to be mortal.
