Following the death of her mother at the hands of her father, Denali had left the shifter life behind her. Being a female, she did not have the ability to shift, which made her decision easier. Everything seemed to fall into place with her decision when she sees a add for a maid position that offers room and board near a local college. Here, she could continue her mothers work and maybe one deal fulfill her dream.

After she accepts, she finds out that her employer was the most well-known shifter in the shifter community. He is also the most sought-after male as well. He was a rich billionaire who had yet to find his mate and gave tons of female shifters hope of a better life. Denali is just relieved she will never see him. Who would come to their winter getaway in the middle of summer after all?
