Alex is one of the 43 children born from previously un-pregnant  mothers. She is now 18, and possesses the powers of necromancy and immortality. Thanks to her powers, her childhood has been total shit. Between her abusive parents, and shitty life she feels the need to become numb; to hold no emotions. She quickly spirals into drug addiction and while she's out, she runs into a boy named Klaus. He discovers her secrets and takes her to the umbrella academy (It was Ben's idea). 
    
    Since she's joining the umbrella academy 18 years after the others have been found, there's a disconnect between her and some of the others. The only one who understands her and her ways is none other than Klaus.
