It was a warm September afternoon when Dylan Lawless struggled to push her suitcase up the stairs of her new university dorm and met Arthur Heaver and his damned blue eyes. Just like that - they became each other's and a beautiful year together.

That is, until everything went wrong. After Arthur lost his mother and unexpectedly left the city, Dylan felt broken. Yet suffered losses of her own, transforming the once powerful dancer into someone who struggles to sleep and takes risks.

But now Arthur's back and finds Dylan entirely changed and with Damien, a boy that has betrayed Arthur in the past.

Together, the fractured pair discover if they have what it takes to regain their friendship, happiness and possibly more.
