Shawn and Gus have a hard time finding work due to Monk taking all the cases. The Seattle Washington police are still trying to solve the murders that the new born vampires from Eclipse committed. The Seattle police heard of Shawn Spencer's abilities and offers him a job. Shawn and Gus happily accepted the job. As Shawn and Gus continue the investigate they get close to learn about the Volturi.

The Volturi learns about Shawn and Gus getting close to find out the truth about vampires. The Volturi want to kill them. When Aro Volturi learn about Shawn's abilities he wants Shawn join the Volturi.
