First draft

When Luna gets the lead part in a movie she's ecstatic, but that is of short duration, when she walks into the first script reading she sees someone she hoped she would never seen again:
Carter
her first crush
her first kiss
her first everything

Luna knows Carter since the age of 4, he lived in the same town, was a transfer from England and her brother's best friend, so she used to see him all the time and he used to annoy the living shit out of her, she hated him, so, so much. Why tho? The fact that she let HIM, the annoying, cocky, asshole, be her first everything.
When she meets him again, after 6 years, she hates herself for thinking he absolutely didn't glow down and she still feels this pull towards him.
She won't let him come close to her again, not after he left, not now, not ever

But when one of her co-stars assaults her and there's no one to confine but her best friend Lola who already has enough battles to fight on her own?
Not able to keep the facade up, the only option seems Carter. Can she trust Carter? The last time she trusted someone, he ruined her.

And when the entire media turns against her, except one young journalist, will she be able to give him a chance?
While she still has to act out an on screen romance with the man who ruined her, and the press is doing everything to make her seem like an attention seeking no body, will she be able to let someone in and maybe even fall in love?
