After a long day of meeting cast and crew and script reading, Luna walked back towards her car, exhausted and hungry.
Suddenly she felt a tap on her shoulder, she shrieked, turned around and saw Blakes handsome face

"Hey," she says a little breathier than usual, still feeling her heart thumping in her chest, still a little frightened

"Hey, are you going home already?"

"Yeah, the day is over right?" Luna says a little skeptical

"The workday is indeed over, but why don't we go drink something downtown? As a nice celebration of the nice moments that we are gonna share the next two months." Blake suggests

"That's nice and I can really use a drink after such an intensive day. What place did you have in mind?"

  "The Parker Room, Vine Street?"

"I heard good things about that one, so yeah sure"

"Great, my car is that way."

"Blake, dummy, I need my own car to get back home."

"I will bring you home, that way I know you'll be save."

"And how am I getting here tomorrow then?"

"I could pick you up." He says like it's the most logical thing in the world

"Okay, you got a point. So where's your car then?"

  "Just follow me, Lunita."

"How long will it take to get there?"

"uh it's 0,3 miles, so not long"

"that's walking distance, Blake" Luna said giggling

  "Okay, walking it is then"

It was unbelievable how comfortable and smooth the conversation on the way to the bar went. Luna really enjoyed Blakes's presence. If there was a moment of silence, it wasn't uncomfortable and after a couple moments of silence Blake would just throw in a cheesy pick up line to make Luna laugh.

They arrived at the newly opened, old-Hollywood, jazz bar and ordered two beers.

"So, not a cocktail girl, I guess." Blake stated a bit jokingly

"Nope, not today." Luna laughed along with him

They already had a lot of talking and laughing done, when Luna said
"It's getting late, we should head back to our cars."

Blake looked at his phone for the first time this night and only to see that they had already been there for over four hours
"Yeah, I guess we should"

Blake paid for the drinks under some protest by Luna and they walked back to the studio. Once arrived at the cars Blake told Luna he would drive behind her until she was home safely, so he wouldn't be worried. They exchanged their numbers and took off.

"I enjoyed tonight, see you tomorrow xx Lunita"

"Try not to dream go much about me, goodnight xx", Blake answered before he switched off his phone and fell into a peaceful sleep, really happy with the progress he made today.

Unfortunately there was someone who couldn't sleep peacefully that night, like Blake and Luna could, and who decided to take his frustration out in the gym, not stopping until his mussels ached and his mind had calmed down a little.
He knew he was jealous, so incredibly jealous of Blake, although he had absolutely no right to and he knew that all too well. He had made Luna hate him with the things he did in the past, it was his own fault that she wouldn't laugh at his lame jokes or at least tried to have a conversation with him. He was deep in thoughts the whole night, thinking about how he could prove to her that he had changed and that he had missed her so much and that he regretted all the bad things that he had done. He made a plan and he was gonna give a full hundred percent to get her back. But what was even more important to him, the bad vibes he got from Blake, and that wasn't just because Blake was hitting on Luna, Carter didn't trust Blake and he had to convince Luna of the same opinion before Blake could hurt her.

It was eating Carter alive, seeing Luna laugh at Blake's jokes and going out with Blake every day after the script readings, while she didn't even spare Carter a glance unless they were acting out a scene. It killed him that she was only acting nice to him because it was in the script. He knew he fucked up when he left six years ago, but he had changed, for the better and he wanted at least a chance to prove that to Luna. But how can he show her that he isn't that same arrogant jerk anymore when she won't give him the time of the day? And if she doesn't trust him, she also won't take his gut feeling concerning Blake serious.
He wasn't blind, he knew there was something developing between Blake and Luna, to say he didn't like it was an understatement but he also knew he fucked this up himself and she deserved someone better than him but Blake wasn't someone better than Carter, why did she have to choose someone who gave off the worst vibes, he wasn't good and it would show sooner or later.

It was hot in Los Angeles, Carter left the building, already changed in sports clothes, and took off running. It was becoming a part of his daily routine now, everyday after work he would go on a run to relieve stress and to stay fit. Sports had always been a stress reliever for Carter, playing professional soccer used to be his dream but as soon as he started living that dream, he knew it wasn't the life he wanted, that's what made him move to California after six years of trying to become happy in his country of birth.

Jogging over the beach around this time was perfect, the sun wouldn't set until later so there aren't to many people on the beach.
After about 20 minutes of jogging over the beach he saw one of those cheesy couples, hanging out and kissing at the shore. It made him want to puke his guts out, he wasn't capable of being loved seriously. He would never admit it but he would love to have someone who would be his other half, his soulmate. He had a couple relationships over the years but he was never serious about it, he just couldn't seem to commit to those girls, he was always comparing them to someone, a girl who he left behind in the states because he didn't know how to handle his feelings for her and because he felt like she deserved more than him.
Coming closer to the couple, he noticed something: the young woman, who was now splashing her boyfriend with the salt seawater, had the same beautiful gold locks and the same curved body his Jai. The girl didn't only look like his princess, it was Luna and to Carter's frustration, she was with Blake.
She looked happy, he thought. Why did he had to fuck up all those years ago, if he had just stayed here, that could have been them, he could have been with Luna right now and even if they wouldn't be together, she would maybe listen to him and not date Blake. Unfortunatly Carter noticed one thing last week, Blake was a great actor, on ánd off screen.

He turned around and started jogging back, beating himself up about all those things he could have done different back then.
