Everybody wishes to be a Hero- a hero like Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman.

When Amy Winston found a necklace she hadn't expected to be stucked into a different dimension. The kingdom Nilaa looks like it came straight out of a fantasy book. Another thing she didn't expect was to get superpowers. Not that she has anything against it. That was her chance to be a hero. To be like Batman or Superman... Only she has no idea how to deal with her new abilities. So she becomes Hal Jordan's protégée Amethyst and five months later she finds herself joining a team of young superheroes. Then Nilaa isn't the only world in danger.
