"They're gone." Max bent down and tenderly picked up the shaking Pokémon. Her eyes were the prettiest shade of red, like she had jewels for irises. "You're safe now."
    
    "Scor?" Scorbunny looked up and craned her neck. There were still tears in her eyes. "Scorbun?"
    
    "I promise," Max whispered and stroked her fur. "I won't hurt you. I'll protect you."

    Max has never planned on starting a journey, but sometimes life has its own ideas. Now, he's traveling around the world with his Pokémon, meeting friends and rivals new and old. If he is to succeed, he must first learn what it truly means to be one with his Pokémon.
    
    
    
    
    
    As you can probably tell, this book is about a boy and his Cinderace. Just so you know, this is not a "reader x Pokémon" kind of book, and it's clean too. I just couldn't find that many good and clean Pokémon books (unless it's about Ash) but they're out there. Thanks for reading!
