Eighteen years ago, Zara LaRosa and Dante Salvatori used to play together as often as their parents allowed them to. One night, everyone in the LaRosa family home was killed, except little Zara who managed to escape with the head of her father's security.

Zara resurfaces and starts operating from the shadows, killing Bonifacio's people who were involved in her home invasion and who are now loyal to Dante, earning a nickname Regina del Sangue (Queen of Blood) in the process.

Her true identity is unknown to everyone except for her team from the underground and she intends to keep it that way.
