The Community Service Project

Ellie Fosset is a girl who constantly receives pressure to do well academically from her parents. She does extra service hours, volunteers, takes honors classes, etc.

What happens when one day, Ellie finds out that Matthew Haze, the schools most popular lacrosse boy, has to volunteer at the same senior center as her.
Will a friendship and possibly more be formed out of these two opposites ? Or will things such as a jealous ex or a childhood crush get in the way?
