Keenan Aisenyev is different. He was born and raised solely for one purpose: to stand as a pakhan and takeover the Russian mafia at a young age, after his father, the former russian mafia boss (pakhan), unexpectedly died.

He and his wife was on their way back to their home when they were ambushed. His wife got killed together with his unborn child. Despite searching for years for the one responsible for his wife's death, he was unable to find the person he was looking for.

Imogen Damari, a timid only child of an Italian mafia boss, was born mute. Having this disability made her unfit and incompetent to inherit his father's legacy.

After encountering Damari, Keenan was offered a chance that he couldn't refuse. A marriage of convenience in exchange of finding the person responsible for killing the love of his life.
