I'm still standing - Sigtryggr Ivarsson

Arnora, a rather reserved, but smart and nice young girl, is separated from her family one day and taken in by a nice couple! The two of them took loving care of her, but when they were killed one day, Arnora had no one and was all alone again!

So she decided to travel to Winchester and look for shelter there! When she got there, she met a group of warriors whose lord was known everywhere! Sihtric, Finan, Osferth and Uhtred returned to Winchester to speak with King Edward, who unfortunately was already in Aylesbury!

Arnora decided to go to the group and ask if she could travel with them for a while! Uhtred agreed after a moment's thought and so it came to pass that Arnora and the boys were soon close friends! They rode to Aylesbury to speak with King Edward! His sister Æthelflæd and her daughter Ælfwynn were no longer safe there and Uhtred wanted to make sure nothing happened to them outside Aylesbury!

But King Edward would not be bothered...not until one day Winchester fell into Danish hands and King Edward was forced to fight side by side with Uhtred Ragnarsson and his sister Æthelflæd!

There Arnora met Sigtryggr Ivarsson! His men had previously kidnapped Uhtred's daughter Stiorra and King Edward's son Æthelstan and left Uhtred's group to die in the forest!

Will they be able to free Stiorra?

Or will Arnora and Sigtryggr fall in love and will Arnora eventually turn away from Uhtred and the others?
