    Ria's heart hammered against her ribs as Kai complimented her art. Was this really happening? Could the star basketball player be interested in her, the perpetually frizzy-haired artist?
    
    Everything changed when Kai sheepishly asked for a favor. Stuck between practice and an essay deadline, he needed water and inspiration. Ria readily agreed, a newfound confidence blooming within her.
    
    Stepping into the gym was a nerve-wracking experience. The cacophony of squeaking shoes and shouted instructions surrounded her. But as she sketched the intensity on Kai's face, a realization dawned. Maybe beauty wasn't about appearances, but about the fire that burned within.
    
    Practice ended, and Kai approached Ria, a genuine smile on his face. He reached for her water bottle, then glanced at her notebook.  "You saw the whole disaster, huh?" he joked. Ria shook her head, a question forming on her lips. "Not a disaster. More like..."  Would Kai see her art, and maybe even her, in a new light?All Rights Reserved
