Emelie had always had a good relationship with the Kishimoto family.

She was Aleena's best friend, Aleena was Kenji and Nazeera's second child after Zayden.

Both Juliette and Aaron visit them frequently since they live close by, Juliette is Kenji's best friend and has been for a very long while.

Aaron and Juliette lost there only child when she was 2 years old, something inside Aaron died that day. And Juliette was just about to lose it too, but just managed to hold on because of Kenji.

Emelie had always felt at home with Juliette, sometimes she wished she was her mother. She also often got asked if they were mother and daughter, and they did look a bit alike.
