Chapter 5| the hangout

I was looking at myself in the mirror in my bathroom, my long brown hair a bit wavy and brown eyes looking right back at me.

I had on a pair of low waist jeans and a tight shirt, it fit me really well. The jeans were light black with stars on the back pockets.

The shirt was light blue and it had a streak off white around my neck. I was wondering if I should change, because you could see my angry red scar right over my waistline.

I took off the shirt and changed it with a white top that had small bands around my shoulders.

It was pretty long and covered my scar, I smiled and took my two front pieces of hair and tying it behind my head in a small ribbon.

The ribbon was black, I turned and walked out of me bathroom and into my room again.

I dragged out the same pair of shoes I had been wearing earlier in the day and slipped them on.

I grabbed my phone and walked out of my room. On my was to the residence of the Kishimoto family.

I stood outside the front door and looked at the massive house. It had two floors and was white with a black door.

I had been inside it before when I visited Aleena. I had met both Kenji and Nazeera. They where nice.

I think they liked me. I hoped so.

I knocked on the door and not long after the door opened and Nazeera stood there. Her hijab on and the same beautiful smile as Aleena smiling at me.

I smiled back and she stepped back to give me room to come in, "it's so nice to see you again Emelie" she said and then Kenji walked from the kitchen and spotted her.

"Hey Em's" he said and gave her a flashing smile as he walked towards them. "Good to see you again, love the hair" he touched the top of my head as if I was a dog.

He patted me and I glared up at him, "woah woah, good girl" he said while backing away and I smirking at me.

I just gave him a death stare, I looked over to see Nazeera doing the exact same thing.

"Come on" she said and I followed her into the kitchen, "do you want anything?" She asked.

"Can I have some water?" I asked and she just nodded and filled a glass for me.

Her pricing was shining from the sunlight, she was smiling and talking to Kenji, "okay, I will go and get Aleena" Kenji said and when he walked past me he took the glass of water that I didn't notice Nazeera had put there.

"Hey" I said and he smirked and took a sip.

"Don't let him bother you sweetie" Nazeera said and filled a second cup and handed it to me.

"Thank you so much Naz" I said and she smiled. I heard a knock on the door and Nazeera went to open it. Samuel stood there.

He looked a bit shy when Naz gave him the smile. "Hey, Sam" I said and he looked at me and smiled, he walked over to me and sat down on the chair beside me.

I heard the light footsteps from above, and I saw Aleena walk down the stairs. I waived slightly and she gave me the same smile as her mother.

Zayden was walking right behind him, he gave me a small smile, then another knock was heard and Ember and Benjamin walked in.

"Hey guys" Benji said and all greeted them. Alexander wasn't far behind them his brown hair was slightly wet like he had just taken a shower. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

He came over to me and gave me a hug from behind, since I was sitting on a chair, "hey Alex, good to see you" I said and he stiffened. I looked up to see Zayden glaring at him.

He let go off me and sat down beside Samuel. I glared right back at Zayden, his expression went blank and I shifted my focus elsewhere.

Nazeera was looking closely at me a little knowing smile on her lips.

There was knocking on the door again and I was beginning to get irritated, the door opened and two boys stood there.

"What's up Zay?!" One of them almost screamed, it was the one with brown hair and a mischievous smile on his face. The other boy stood there and looked blankly around at the people in the room.

His blue eyes a contrast to his black hair, his eyes stopped on me and I stood up. I walked over to them and gave the one with the black hair my hand.

"I'm Emelie" he took it and said "Aiden" his voice was dark but not to much. His hand in mine made me realise how small hands I had.

I turned to the brunette and held out it to him to, he took it and kissed my hand while looking at me the whole time. "Maven" he straightened and he was really tall, "your really beautiful darling" he said and I just winked at him.

"Okay, let her be" a almost dangerous voice said behind me, Zayden.

We were all sitting on the enormous couch in Aleena's living room, Aleena on one side of me while Samuel sat on the other side.

I leans my head on Sam's shoulder and he leaned his on top of mine.

We were really close friends and had always been comfortable around each other.

He put his arm around me and I pulled my legs up to my chest and got comfortable.

We were watching a movie about cars, but I had seen it before and it wasn't something that really interested me.

Aleena got up from the couch and sat down with Ember and I used the free spot to stretch out my legs.

Now my head was in Sam's lap, his arm resting on my waist and his hand stroking my side.

I yawned and not long after I fell asleep.
