After the events of The Battle of Starcourt, and with the person she was in love with now dead, Beth Anderson shut out everybody in her life and became a shell of the person she once was. She became numb. So on the first day of her senior year at Hawkins High, you can imagine her surprise when she finds herself feeling intrigued by the pretty, brown-eyed metal-head that is known to most as "The Freak".

This story follows the life of Beth Anderson in her senior year of high school as she meets and falls in love with Eddie "The Freak" Munson.
