Play By The Rules

For as long as he could remember, Adam has always been told to play by the rules, which he did. He grew up with his single mom who had more secrets than Adam could ever imagine, hidden away, locked forever.

But one day, out of the blue, his mom decided to marry Ryan Lamar. This meant living with him and his son Wren Lamar, and that did not please Adam.

Initially, living together was a nightmare. Wren and Adam's constant bickering made their every interaction a battleground. However, as they spent more time in close quarters, their animosity began to fade, replaced by a growing attraction.

As they catch feelings, it is impossible to keep away from each other. Secret meetings, stolen kisses and bedroom visits become a regular thing for the two.

But their love defies societal norms and the world isn't forgiving. So when their lives are turned upside down, secrets are slowly revealed and old crushes arise, Adam is left wondering whether this time he should play by the rules or follow his own heart.
