Sita - a bubbly yet practical, final year Agriculture student - is in love with her paternal cousin (cross cousin), Shyam since seven years. A childhood admiration of hers had turned into a teenage crush which had further developed into an unrequited love.
Shyam - an easygoing Chemistry professor - is in a deteriorating relationship with his colleague, Anjali. But he doesn't want to give up and break ties with her.
