Daphne has a secret. A secret worth killing her for. Leaving her old life behind she runs away from home to become a dragon rider at Basgiath. No one can know who she is. No one could have prepared her for what awaits her at Basgiath: the challenges and surely not a pair of onyx eyes. Staying in the shadows becomes nearly impossible with a certain dragon rider trying to bore himself into her life. A dragon rider that might kill her if he figures out who she really is.
